FAQ: Why are voltage and current measurements different when using SCPI commands versus the N6705 front panel?

In order to display the appropriate measurement value on the front screen of the N6705B, you have to set the proper range on the Meter Properties page.

Likewise, you need to set the proper range of the measurements taken using SCPI commands by using SCPI commands, since this is not done automatically.

To set the measurement range using SCPI, send the command “SENSe:CURRent:RANGe <range value> @<chan>"
